Capacity building projects are transnational cooperation projects based on multilateral partnerships between higher education institutions (HEIs) in Europe and abroad. They aim to use HEIs as a vector to meet the knowledge requirements for economic development through job creation, better governance, increased entrepreneurship and mobility, and a stronger civil society. The duration is 2 or 3 years with a budget between 500,000 and 1,000,000 Euros for staff, travel, accommodation, equipment and subcontracting.
